Targeted Advocacy: Rallying Public and Government Support to Create a Thriving Community
The Baw Baw Shire Council requires a visually appealing strategy to showcase its ability to allocate government funds towards projects that benefit residents and foster a thriving community. Their current method of sharing initiatives is through a text-based web page that is difficult to navigate.
I designed an interactive prototype that enabled users to view various ongoing projects in real time. This design featured micro-interactions and provided a seamless, enjoyable experience, making an otherwise mundane process engaging and fun.
"Absolutely love it!"
The Baw Baw Shire Council was thrilled with the design outcome and is committed to seeing it through to final implementation.
This project represents an excellent opportunity for the Council to establish a channel of communication with residents, increase trust through transparency, and more readily secure government funding for future projects.
This project enabled me to deepen my understanding of user interactions and maximise the capabilities of Figma as a tool. To achieve the level of interactivity demonstrated here, I had to master some of Figma's most advanced features.
